Windansea Beach
The beach is always a great places after a storm.
Bill and I drove up to Pacific Beach this evening for a little dinner and I had to take just a moment to capture a couple of photos of the sunset. Enjoy!
What’s a Sunday morning without a photo of the La Jolla Cove and a pelican?
On my way home from Idyllwild I made a pit stop at the Cahuilla Casino in Anza Valley. I swear… Anza Valley always gets the best storm clouds and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been caught in a rain storm while riding my motorcycle. Anyway, I thought these clouds were pretty as a backdrop for this rock formation.
I took a drive up to Idyllwild this weekend. Along the way I stopped in Garner Valley to snap of photo of the San Jacinto river near Lake Hemet. It was raining and the marshlands were showing off their winter colors.
Dan and I visited Ocean Beach this morning. It was overcast with some nice waves.
I’ve created a February desktop calendar using this photo and you can download it here.
Windansea beach has some very interesting rock formations along the shore. Here, the big waves last week were rolling over the rocks.
The big waves along the Southern California coast last week created some interesting landscapes. Here, the waves have eroded a portion of the beach.
This week has been exciting here in San Diego. Big waves coming in from Japan have been crashing on the shores and the surfers have been having a blast.
I took a drive up to La Jolla this morning with my friend, Dan. We headed up to the Scripps Pier and found the cactus flowers in full bloom.
