About Me
This about the only photo I have of myself.
I usually run away from cameras, but I need to post at least one photo of myself—so here it is. This photo was taken while on a motorcycle ride through Colorado.
Trying to describe yourself to others seems like the hardest part to me. I decided I wanted to create a web site for myself so I could share my life with friends, family and others who may find me on the web, and now I guess it’s the moment of truth… I need to say something here.
I guess what we do for a living sometimes best describes us so I’ll start there. I’m a graphic designer during the day and I truly enjoy my work. To me, it’s very satisfying to be able to create something—whether it’s for myself or a client—and at the end of the day have something I can hold in my hand. I worked for years in Silicon Valley as a programmer/IC designer and even though I worked hard all day on a program or a chip, I couldn’t really hold it in my hand.
Perhaps some of you are wondering about my site name, Idyguy.com. Well, it’s pretty simple… IDY is an acronym for Idyllwild and I’m a guy living in Idyllwild, CA. TA DA!
My interests include motorcycles, graphic design, photography, computers, music, art and most of all my family and close friends.
